Since 2017, COSMOCERT has been the first Greek approved Inspection & Certification Body and a member of VLOG (Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik – Industry Association Food without Genetic Engineering) for the provision of certification services concerning products that are produced without the use of genetically modified substances or genetic engineering methods (non-GMO). VLOG certification constitutes an important asset for Greek companies exporting dairy products to Central European countries.

This specific standard is addressed to food production and processing businesses that wish to add value to their products through the “Ohne GenTechnik” labeling, indicating production without the use of genetic engineering processes.

With this specific labeling, the consumer can be assured that, at all stages of the food chain, the product does not contain ingredients produced using genetically modified substances or genetic engineering processes.
